1. Overview
ClassThread is a local-first workspace for teachers. Normal use does not require an account or a developer-operated server for classroom data.
2. Information stored on your device
You may enter class names, student names, roster and seating information, attendance and leave records, homework follow-up, notes, communications, custom-tool records, and related classroom history. Primary app data is stored locally on your device.
3. Collection, advertising, and tracking
ClassThread does not upload classroom or student records to developer-operated servers during normal use. It does not use advertising tracking, sell personal data, or provide user accounts.
4. Export and sharing
You can explicitly export backups and supported CSV or PDF records, or share supported files through the system Share Sheet. An exported copy leaves the app only when you choose a destination. That destination’s privacy practices govern its handling of the copy.
5. Student information
Student names and classroom records can be personal information. Use ClassThread and exported records in line with the policies that apply to your school or organization.
6. Permissions and changes
ClassThread does not request access to your contacts, photos, location, microphone, or camera for its normal classroom-record workflow. This policy may be updated if the app’s functionality or data practices change.
